I followed your combination and, hey, it works very well :D
But why remove spicaTweak?

This rom is quite nice and i think is the most stable in 2.2.
There are some bugs in it although. For example, the phone app is not working correctly and i need to get it from CM-6.1.1-a8.4. Also the memory settings are not the best and i have to change the VMheap, Memory and sysctl values.
The rest works ok. I would love to see you involved in developing 4.0 for SPICA.

Regs,
Dan

Anyone, any experience with wired (USB) tether?

Tried many kernels, no success till now. The native option in the menu says "USB not connected", wired tethering app complaints about incompatible kernel...

If this helps anyone!

After long experimenting I found a pretty good combination:
Clean install RC1 (do not forget to reboot once again) + Yonip CFS V12B.1 + removed spicaTweak from init.d.

After the install, cache, dalvik cache, and battery-stats wipe.

I have activated 18% compcache, but it was equally awesome before, I'm just experimenting further.

No freeze, incredibly responsive, and reliable.

Nice roms :) I like it! but i got a problem with my spica. When my screen is off or when it is in sleep mode, my background apps freezes and stops and the time stops too. I tried using wake lock app, it works for a while but not for too long. I tried flashing it but it doesn't help at all. HELP. :(
